Apple Studio Display to deliver 7K resolution on 36-inch screen

Back in January, it was rumoured that Apple could be working on a new monitor to replace the Pro Display XDR. Some people might think that Apple wants to appeal to a wider audience with a more affordable product. But that Apple also seems to have another monitor that's in development if sources are to be believed.

According to 9to5Mac, Apple could be working on not just one new monitor but two. The second monitor is allegedly codenamed 'J327' and would be called the Apple Studio Display. It's suggested that this would be a more advanced model than the Pro Display XDR, as it comes with a 36-inch screen that offers 7K resolution.

Currently, there are no concrete details about the Apple Studio Display. However, it's believed that the monitor could come with a built-in Apple A13 Bionic chip. This suggests that the monitor's chip is what helps it output the high-resolution, and possibly other features that would help with video or image rendering.

Since Apple is scheduled to host an event on 8 March 2022, we might hear more about this monitor soon. What else would you like to see at Apple's upcoming event? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more Apple news.
