As announced way back in June 2023, Apple revealed the Apple Vision Pro and it now has a release date. It will be launching in the US on 2 February 2024 and pre-orders will begin on 19 January at 5 AM PST, at the price of $3499 with 256GB of storage. That's roughly around ~RM16,245 after a direct currency exchange.

To recap the features of the Apple Vision Pro, it's powered by visionOS to deliver a spatial augmented reality experience at home. Users will experience a new 3D UI and input system, controlled entirely by the eyes, hands and voice recognition. One of the features that users use is Environments, to "transport" themselves to various locations, even the moon.

Besides that, users can also use the Vision Pro to watch movies and TV shows from Apple TV+, Disney+, HBO Max and other services in HDR content. Gaming is possible as well, including over 250 titles on Apple Arcade like NBA 2K24 Arcade Edition and Sonic Dream Team, as well as Game Room, What the Golf?, and Super Fruit Ninja as spatial games.

As aforementioned, Apple Vision Pro will be available at all US Apple Store locations and the US Apple Store online. The ZEISS Optical Inserts will be sold separately for $99, while the prescription version will be sold for $149.
