News of an iPhone 9 isn't all that new, but now there are rumours that Apple also has an iPhone 9 Plus in the works. Recently, it was said that details for the iPhone 9 Plus were found within iOS 14's codes. This could be a larger variant of the iPhone 9 that's expected to launch sometime this year.
The folks at 9to5Mac have claimed that evidence of this larger variant was found within the coding of iOS 14. It's suggested that this device, along with the iPhone 9, will serve as the replacement for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus that was launched back in 2017. The iPhone 9 is supposed to have a 4.7-inch display, while the iPhone 9 Plus should come with a larger 5.5-inch screen.

In addition, both smartphones are expected to be powered by the Apple A13 Bionic chip, which should make it as powerful as the iPhone 11 series. They're also supposed to come with a Home button with built-in Touch ID. This would allow people to use features that weren't available on older entry-level models like Apple Pay and NFC tag scanning.
Aside from that, 9to5Mac also mentioned that the new and upcoming iPad Pro may come in four variants. They are likely WiFi and Cellular versions for the two different sizes, specifically 11-inch and 12.9-inch. The new models will allegedly come with three cameras each.
Bear in mind, these claims are mostly rumours. We haven't seen any official announcements from Apple at all, so do take it with a pinch of salt. The launch for this iPhone 9 series was allegedly postponed, but would you be purchasing it when it comes to Malaysia? Let us know what you think of this news on our Facebook page!
