If you have read some news about three new iPads that are coming in 2022, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman also talked about the new upcoming Apple Watch Series 2022. In his newsletter column, Power On, there may be a new Apple Watch SE and a rugged Apple Watch sports edition coming soon.

Now besides the Apple Watch Series 8, we may finally get another Apple Watch SE. The SE has been a popular choice for consumers who just wants a mid-range tier device with similar performance like Apple Watch Series 3. According to Gurman, the Apple Watch SE 2 could get the same design as the Apple Watch Series 6 but lacking some features such as the blood oxygen sensor, ECG and always-on display.

On the other hand, there could also be a new Apple Watch Series sports edition. You may be thinking of the Apple Watch Nike edition but Apple could do something more "rugged" according to Bloomberg. This Apple Watch series could have a "ruggedised" design that is more scratch-resistant, as well as to falls or bumping into something and more.

The Apple Watch Series has been a favourite among sports enthusiasts over the years. Not just that, but even casual users also tend to purchase them just for fashion purposes or get them for parents who are old to take care of their health.

The wearable should be released in the second half of the year so it's still a long way to go. You may take this news with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
