Apple officially launched its Self Service Repair programme in April this year and expanded it gradually throughout 2022. Now, the company has announced further expansion, with the programme now available for M1-powered Mac desktops as well as the Studio Display.

As reported by Six Colors, the tech giant is now offering parts, tools and repair manuals for the M1-powered iMac, Mac Mini and Mac Studio in the US starting today. Moreover, on the official Apple website, the repair manuals for the Mac desktops with Apple silicon and the Studio Display are now available.

Besides that, the tech giant also announced earlier this month that the Self Service Repair programme is now available in Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Spain, Sweeden and the United Kingdom. However, in the aforementioned regions outside of the US, the programme is only available for the iPhone 12 series, iPhone 13 series, iPhone SE third-generation, M1 MacBook Air and M1 MacBook Pro series.

As of the time of writing, the programme is not available in Malaysia with Apple yet to reveal plans to expand the programme to our country. So, what do you guys think of Apple’s Self Service Repair?
