September is just around the corner and we know that's when Apple usually hosts one of its big events. In 2021, we're not only expecting the iPhone 13 series but also a new generation of iPad. Now, there's a new piece of info about the company's upcoming tablets too.
According to 9to5Mac, sources claim that Apple could launch the new generation of iPad 9 tablets with a titanium chassis. However, the higher cost of making such frames could prevent the company from going for it. If this is true, Apple might make just one variant with a titanium body to gauge the reaction and interest of its customers.
In terms of design, the iPad 9 will not be all that different from the iPad 8's design. The tech specs and features have not been revealed, but it's rumoured that there would be a new entry-level model with the A13 Bionic chipset. Also, Apple is expected to push its total tablet shipment to 60 million units with the new models.
With Apple cracking down on leakers, details on the company's upcoming products might be sparse. But we'll still keep an eye out for any of them, so do stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates.
