After the Apple iPhone 12 series has arrived, we know that now it's the time for some iPhone 13 rumours (yah, technology is fast like that). Today, the reputable Apple tipster Ming-Chi Kuo is back with a new prediction. It is mentioned that the iPhone 13 Pro series will have a significantly upgraded ultra-wide lens.

According to the tipster, the next Pro variants are likely to get an ultra-wide lens with f/1.8 aperture, 6P lens, and Auto Focus feature (AF). The current iPhone 12 Pro variants are equipped with 12MP ultra-wide that has f/2.4 aperture and only Fixed Focus (FF) with a 5P lens.

What does it mean to have more P? The P basically stands for plastic where more than one lens element are combined to offset dispersion. Therefore, we can expect improvements in ultra-wide features like Deep Fusion, Night Mode, and Lens Correction. The tipster also believes that this lens will make it to all iPhone models by 2022, which means the iPhone 14 series.
