Maxis recently confirmed what many Apple iPhone 5 and some iPad users in Malaysia are now finding out. Those who were on the Maxis 4G LTE plans now have LTE speeds for their devices. Maxis officially confirmed this recently along with an update of their new LTE coverage areas as shown below:
So far, the LTE speeds only seem to be compatible for the Apple iPhone 5, Cellular + Wi-Fi iPad mini and the iPad 4. No news yet if this compatibility extends to other LTE capable devices. Technically, as long as you're on the Maxis 4G LTE plans it should be compatible so if you're getting such speeds on a non-Apple device or are having problems do let us know. The Apple iPhone 5 LTE plans are still the same iValue plans as well.
