Are you ready for another rumour train from Apple? Last year, we were betting on the iPhone SE 2017 model but alas, it never happened and was quickly shot down during Apple's annual WWDC event. However, thanks to new sources, new rumours are suggesting that there will be a new iPhone SE again this year, according to the Taiwanese market research firm TrendForce.

It isn't just TrendForce, but Taiwan's Economic Daily News is also claiming that Apple is secretly working on it and it's being developed by Wistron, one of Apple's supplier in Taiwan. Since it's an SE model, we can safely assume it will cater to the mid-range market, most probably with the A10 Fusion chipset since the original SE is using an A9 chipset. If the SE 2018 is indeed using the A10 Fusion chipset, then we can count out the Face ID feature that is used in the iPhone X, as it won't have the power to utilize it. That also means it's likely to have the capacitive home button at the front and won't be in full frontal display just like the iPhone X.

Do you know anyone who still prefers a small screen size smartphone? Should Apple make another iPhone SE model? By the way, if you want to have your iPhone battery replaced, Machines and Switch are offering them now, until then stay tuned for more Apple news at TechNave.com.
