For many users, the announcement of Windows 11 may or may not be exciting. But if you're in the macOS camp, you probably more excited about the new macOS announced at WWDC. Not a problem, Apple isn't about to lose out and has been hosting beta tests for the macOS Monterey.

As pointed out by Wccftech, Apple has released macOS Monterey Beta 2 to those who've signed up for the Apple Developer Program. Beta 2 fixes many bugs in the first beta and offers performance enhancements, which should make the user experience better. The new macOS also offers a redesigned Safari browser, Universal Control, an upgrade to FaceTime, and more.

The new macOS comes with a new Universal Control centre

If you are a developer and have a compatible Mac device, you could download the beta via OTA update and test it now. The rest of us will have to wait for the public beta, which is expected to be released next month. As for the official launch, it should be in September 2021.
