In recent years, we get the same question asking whether Apple would delay its iPhone's launch due to manufacturing issues, and this year is no exception. If you've been following the news, some regions in China are going through lockdowns. For that reason, the iPhone manufacturing factories might also be affected if lockdowns get extended to their places. However, that could be something not to worry about as a manufacturer might have started taking action to avoid delays.

According to the latest report, Foxconn, an iPhone assembler in the country, has received instructions from Apple to conduct a hiring spree to produce the iPhone 14. With that said, Apple might begin production early to avoid delays amid the uncertainty in China. The report claims that Foxconn has increased the bonuses by 30% to attract new workers.

Besides the new iPhones, Apple has also increased the orders for the iPhone 13, as the devices are doing exceptionally well. Market research reports showed that the iPhone 13 outsold its predecessors. Furthermore, Apple is the only big smartphone vendor to see an increase in sales for the first quarter of 2022. However, the new employees are still more for the production of the iPhone 14 as its release is even more important for Apple.
