These days, a lot of brands have a variety of products so that consumers will only buy from them. Apple has been doing the same, launching the Pro Display XDR to go with its Mac devices. In 2022, the company is planning to release more affordable monitors for the masses.
Previously, Mark Gurman claimed that Apple would release a new monitor that's half the price of the Pro Display XDR. For your reference, the latter was priced at RM19999 - a price that even some professionals would be scared of. According to Mark Gurman (via MacRumors), the new model will be available in 24-inch and 27-inch sizes. LG could also be developing 24-inch, 27-inch and 32-inch monitors for Mac users.
Besides those, Apple could also be working on a direct successor of the Pro Display XDR. Allegedly, this model will have mostly the same features as its predecessor. However, it's a larger 32-inch monitor with 6K resolution. The new monitor could also come with its own Apple A-series chip, which will provide GPU cores that help with work like graphically-intensive tasks like 3D rendering.
Currently, rumours suggest that Apple might launch these monitors in mid-2022. Of course, that's unconfirmed so take the news with a grain of salt. Having said that, would you be interested in new Apple monitors? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news about this.
