Apple to induct the 7th-generation iPod nano into the list of Vintage and Obsolete products

Ah, yes. The Apple iPod nano has finally entered the hall of Vintage and Obsolete products. We are not making up this name either, as this is a real webpage on Apple's website honouring past devices that are not commercially sold to the public for more than five years. If the device passes the seven-year mark, then they are dubbed as obsolete.

For your information, the last iPod nano device was released back in mid-2015 as the 7th-generation. For the 1st-generation, it was released on September 2005 and went through several redesigns such as the 3rd-generation which looked "fat". The 6th-generation also had a huge redesign by just being an all-screen device that mimics the Apple Watch series.

After the 7th-generation iPod nano, the device series got discontinued and replaced by the iPod shuffle and iPod touch. Currently, the Apple iPod touch is available in Malaysia for RM899 and looks like old school iPhones but featuring AR capability. Anyway, Apple will induct the 7th-generation iPod nano (alongside the 5th-generation too) into the Vintage and Obsolete list on 30 September officially.
