The launch of the Apple Vision Pro got off to a strong start before sales began to taper off a few months later. The selling price is too high and the lack of attractive features makes Vision Pro a product that most users do not well receive. Bloomberg reported yesterday that Apple still has plans to launch a more affordable Apple Vision headset.
For your information, the more affordable Apple Vision is expected to arrive in 2025 with a retail price of around $2000. It is more affordable than the Vision Pro which is sold at a price starting at $3500 a pair. We have previously reported that cost reductions are achieved by not including an external screen, a less powerful processor, cheaper construction materials and using an internal screen with a lower resolution.
In addition, Apple Vision Pro 2 is also still in the planning with the target of being launched in 2026. A more powerful chip than the Apple M2 used in this headset later. Although Apple has no plans to end the production of Vision Pro, it also plans to launch smart glasses and AirPods with cameras.
We have yet to confirm other details or the Malaysia release date for the device. So, we should wait for more confirmation from Apple.
