The HarmonyOS 2.0 presents an alternative to Google's system and is expected to launch soon. Most would think that only Huawei will be using the OS, but that doesn't seem to be the case. In fact, sources claim that a few companies are interested.

According to Gizchina, at least three smartphone brands (including Huawei) are planning to use HarmonyOS 2.0. This was announced during the recent Huawei Harmony OS Connect Partner Summit. where it was revealed that two 'major' brands will be "powered by HarmonyOS". However, the brands' names weren't revealed.

In our opinion, the two brands are probably other brands from China. As you recall, HarmonyOS can work with multiple types of devices like smartwatches, smart TVs, and IoT devices. With that in mind, one of the brands could be Xiaomi, as it has a variety of different smart products. The other brand could be Huawei's former sister company Honor, which also has different products like smartwatches and laptops.

Of course, our guesses might be way off the mark, so please take them with a grain of salt. But with that said, what other brand would benefit from an OS ecosystem like HarmonyOS 2.0? Share your thoughts in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for further updates on this.
