Australian escaped death when his smartphone stopped an oncoming arrow

Yesterday, an Australian man was shot with an arrow as he was taking a picture of a man armed with a bow and an arrow outside his home. Fortunately for him, the arrow that was launched at him ended up hitting the smartphone that he was holding up, absorbing the majority of the impact and saving his life.

The assailant, that was carrying the weapon was eventually caught by the authorities and charged accordingly. As far as we know, there were no official reports on the exact phone he was holding up. Could the smartphone held up by the man, be the successor of the legendary Nokia 3310? Jokes aside, we’re relieved that the victim was not heavily injured during the whole ordeal.
