A few days ago, rumours suggested that the realme Pad won't have a flagship chipset like some had hope. Instead, the company's first tablet will feature a lower mid-range chipset - the Helio G80. Well, sources have found a benchmark record that confirmed the chipset.

Recently, the realme Pad was found on Geekbench as "realme RMP2102". The benchmark confirms that the device uses an ARM MT6769V/CU, which is the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. It has an 8-core CPU with two cores running on 2GHz, while the remaining six operate on 1.8GHz. Also, the device has 4GB of RAM, though there could be a variant with 6GB of RAM.

If these specs are accurate, then it confirms that the realme Pad won't have flagship-class performance as expected. It still has a very slim metallic body, which realme India and Europe's CEO is keen to point out. The features are still pretty good though, with a 10.4-inch display that's could be an OLED panel and quad-speakers.

realme is gearing up for a launch event soon, which is when the realme Pad, realme 8i, and other devices would be unveiled. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
