After announcing that the Mi Mix 4 will be unveiled on 10 August, Xiaomi continues to confirm that Mi Pad 5 will also make an appearance on that day. The tablet will be competing with the likes of the Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, and HUAWEI MatePad once it arrives.
Like the Mi Mix 4, the announcement was made on the company's official Weibo account. The teaser poster has also been revealed and confirms the rumour which suggested that the tablet will support stylus input. Therefore, we will also get to see a new dedicated stylus being launched at the event too. Besides that, it could mean that it will run on a new version of MIUI as well for larger screens and different types of inputs.
According to previous rumours, the Mi Pad 5 could feature a 10.9-inch display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It might also pack an 8,750mAh battery that comes with a 67W fast charge, and a 48MP camera setup.
