The Black Shark 3 series is set to launch later today, but even the imminent reveal is going to stop the spoilers. A new leak yesterday showed that one of key difference between the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro is the display specs. While not unusual, a 7.1-inch screen on a smartphone isn't something you see everyday.

According to a Weibo post from someone within the company, the regular Black Shark 3 comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a max resolution of 2400 x 1080, while the Black Shark 3 Pro comes with a whopping 7.1-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440. Both models will also support refresh rates of up to 90Hz, HDR10+, and delta E < 1 colour calibration.

In a separate post, a new voice command feature was also teased. Currently, this only seems to be working in the Chinese mobile battle royale game called Peacekeeper Elite. It allows players to swap through different items in the game, open their inventory, lock on targets, and more. While interesting, this is something that has to be programmed into games individually, so we're not sure how extensive it'll be used. It could end up being more of a gimmick.

We'll find out more about the Black Shark 3 smartphones later when they are officially unveiled. But what are your favourite features for the phone so far? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for our full report on the launch that's expected later today.
