When we look back at 2020, you could see that it's a year of the TWS earbuds. Many new models were launch last year and 2021 is starting in the same vein. Back in December, the Bose Sport Open Earbuds was found on the US FCC and it has now launched ahead of CES 2021.

Bose recently launched the Sport Open Earbuds, which is currently available for pre-order in the US for USD 199.95 (~RM802). As you can see, this model is unusual in that it doesn't actually have ear tips. Instead, it uses a technology from Bose called OpenAudio to deliver sound to your ears. Allegedly, this allows you to listen to your music while being aware of your environment, which is useful for workouts or when you're out for a jog.

Despite the word 'open', OpenAudio promises minimal sound spillage so those near you won't hear what you're listening to. It also has two microphones for voice clarity, an 8-hour battery life, and IPX4 water resistance. Speaking of the battery, the Sport Open Earbuds rely on a stationary charging base for charging, with 30 minutes enough for 3 hours of use.

The secure fit for these earbuds should make them suitable for those of you who work out a lot or like doing sports. But do you think you'd be interested in buying one? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more product launches like this.
