Last week was an exciting week for tech, as many new products were revealed at CES 2022. Among the company attending the event is Dell, which owns Alienware. Alienware not only unveiled the Concept Nyx last week but also introduced some new gaming laptops. Let's take a look at the 4 new laptops that were revealed.

Alienware x14

Alienware has been around for years and is well-known for its powerful laptops. However, its models were often bulky machines that were not portable. Well, the new Alienware x14 is a rather slim gaming laptop that's more portable. It sports a new patent-pending hinge design, which makes it possible for Alienware to pack more things under the chassis.

Specifically, it has the Alienware Cryo-Tech cooling technology and a large battery, capable of over 11 hours of HD video playback. Moreover, this battery is considered to have the largest capacity for a 14-inch gaming laptop. As for the CPU and GPU, the Alienware x14 comes with a 12th Gen Intel Core H-series CPU and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU.

Alienware x15/x17 R2

Next are the Alienware x15 R2 and Alienware x17 R2. These two are refreshed models of the Alienware x15/x16 R1 that was launched last year. While the 2021 models featured 11th Gen Intel Core H CPUs, this year they're being upgraded to 12th Gen Intel Core H CPUs. The RAM has also been upgraded from DDR4 (3200MHz) to DDR5 (6400MHz), making it a much more powerful gaming laptop.
