TCL is a relatively new brand in Malaysia, but we've already seen the company launch a few products here. For instance, the TCL NXTPAPER 14 launched here last month is an impressive one with an affordable price tag. Now, there's even a Plus variant.
At CES 2025, TCL announced the TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus, which features a new NXTPAPER 4.0 screen build using a "nano-matrix lithography". This 11.5-inch 2.2K screen boasts ΔE<1 colour accuracy and 100% sRGB colour gamut. That means it has very high accuracy, which is good news for people who may want to use this tablet to draw or sketch. The paper-like matte finishing on the screen helps reduce glare but does result in lower brightness, which is compounded by the low 550 nits max brightness.
Regarding features, the NXTPAPER 11 Plus has an AI-powered Smart Eye Comfort Mode. As you would expect, this allows the tablet to adjust the display based on usage. It also has eye care features like Personalized Eye Comfort Mode and blue light protection. Besides that, the new tablet also has Google Gemini AI features like Circle to Search.
There is no pricing and availability yet, but TCL has mentioned an "upcoming launch of new NXTPAPER 4.0 products." This could refer to the NXTPAPER 11 Plus and other newer models, so stay tuned to TechNave for more news.
