The CMF Phone 1 rumours have been going on for a few weeks already but just a few hours ago, CMF by Nothing just officially unveiled it online. From the looks of it, the CMF Phone 1 is customisable on the back with handy tools such as a kickstand, a keychain accessory and others.

How the CMF Phone 1 is customisable is done through a dial that can be swapped or attached to an accessory. Granted, there won't be any LED lighting glyphs just like the Nothing Phone series but it's still cool to see the dial being rotated in the short teaser below. This dial design resembles the CMF Bud's charging case and Neckband Pro.

The rotating dial could also have other functions. In case you didn't know, the Neckband Pro's dial can be used to control the volume level, playback and ANC. On the other hand, it also seems that users could swap the back panel of the CMF Phone 1 with an extended battery pack but nothing is confirmed. If true, it will be just like the Motorola Moto Z2 Play with its Moto Mods accessories back in 2017.

Other than that, Nothing also confirmed that the back panel colour schemes to others in black, blue, light green and orange. The company will give a full reveal on the CMF Phone 1 soon on 8 July 2024 in the next Nothing Community Update at 10 AM BST (5 PM in Malaysia's time zone).
