Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd officially announced their latest mirrorless camera, the Canon EOS M5 for Malaysia from RM4699 (just the body). Designed for the beginner and semi-pro photographers, it features a 24.2-megapixel CMOS APS-C sensor with Dual Pixel tech and a DIGIC 7 image processor – similar to the one installed in the Canon EOS 80D. It will be available in December at the usual resellers and now on Canon's official store on Lazada.

The Canon store on Lazada will offer a special promotion from 8 December 2016 to 7 January 2016. The first 50 who buy any of the three SKUs from the Canon Lazada store will get 2x rewards on Air Asia BIG points. The EOS M5 will be on pre-order until 12 December 2016 at selected Canon Image and EOS Boutique stores or their Lazada store. Pre-order gifts include a 16GB SD card, EM-E2 neck strap, messenger bag, EF-EOS M Mount adaptor (no tripod collar).
