Are you looking to get a 5G smartphone? We don't have real 5G networks yet, but companies in Malaysia like DNB are working hard on this. Since that's the case, getting a 5G phone now might not be a bad idea. There's even a way you could get one from realme for free.
Specifically, you have to sign up for the Celcom MEGA Lightning XL (RM188/month) or Lightning L Plus (RM158/month) plans. You'll get the realme 8 5G for free, on top of an extra 80GB or 50GB of lightning-fast Internet. There's also the Lightning M Plus (RM128/month) or Lightning M (RM98/month) plans, which gives you an additional 30GB or 10GB instead. In this case, the phone will cost RM329 or RM499, respectively.
The realme 8G 5G was launched here in May and is perhaps one of the cheapest 5G smartphones you can currently get. It comes with a Dimensity 700 5G chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 5000mAh battery. On top of that, it has a 6.5-inch Full HD 90Hz display. In our opinion, the phone is really good value for money.
