Hey there, do you fancy yourself with a new Huawei P9? Well, you actually have a chance without having to buy it! Huawei Malaysia has recently announced a photography competition called “Change the way you see the world” where the company will be giving out a Huawei P9 every week! The competition goes from 30 May until 19 June 2016 and there will be a different theme every week. Participants will just have to take a photo that fits the theme, use the correct hashtag, post it on Facebook or Instagram and stand a chance to take home a Huawei P9! Interested? Prizes:
1. For each weekly contest winner (a total of three winners): 1x Huawei P9 32GB worth RM2099.
2. Prizes shown in the contest form or any communication materials may defer in terms of colour, specifications or design.
3. The Contest winner shall be responsible for all costs in connection with the redemption, collection, delivery and/or perfection of his/her prize, including but not limited to legal cost, stamp duties, registration and transfer fees, taxes, insurance, spending money and related expenses (such as meals or personal expenses, upgrades, etc) or fees.
4. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable in any form for whatever reason. Contest winners are solely responsible for the collection of their prizes.
Contest mechanics and duration:
1. To participate in the contest, a contestant must have an Instagram account OR a Facebook account with privacy settings set to “Public”.
2. A total of three (3) weekly themes will be organized in the following categories:
- Contest #1: 10:00, 30 May – 23:59, 5 June 2016
The Art Of #OO
─ Contestants are required to take a creative picture of any forms of Double-O’s around their daily life.
- Contest #2: 10:00, 6 June – 23:59, 12 June 2016
The Number “9”
─ Contestants are required to take a picture of anything that relates with the number “9” as creative as they can.
- Contest #3: 10:00, 13 June – 23:59, 19 June 2016
When Black Meets White
─ Contestants are required to take their best black and white picture.
─ All submissions for this theme must be in black and white filters only.
─ Colour submissions are automatically disqualified.
3. Contestants will need to adhere to each weekly theme and its mechanics, depending on which week the contestant is participating.
4. All contest submissions must be uploaded on Instagram platform and must include the hashtag #OO, #HuaweiP9MY and #HuaweiP9 and tag Huawei Malaysia’s Instagram account @HuaweiMobileMY OR tag Huawei Malaysia’s Facebook account Huawei Mobile MY.
5. Contestants are encouraged to submit more than one (1) entry for each weekly themed contest during the Contest Period.
6. No professional/DSLR camera submissions are allowed. Only smartphone camera submissions via Instagram and/or Facebook will be accepted.
7. Only colour correction (use of filters, contrast and levels adjustment) is acceptable, as is minor cropping. Photo manipulation via any apps/programs is not allowed.
8. All weekly winners will be announced 5 working days after the closing of each weekly contest on 10 June, 17 June, and 24 June, on www.facebook.com/HuaweiMobileMY
9. The Organizer reserves the right to reject any Contest entry at its sole and absolute discretion without having to assign any reasons whatsoever.
10. By participating in this contest, contestants are deemed to have reviewed, read and accepted the Terms and Conditions.
11. Huawei Device Malaysia has full rights to use and publish all photos submitted in the contest without any prior notice to the relevant contestants and the contestants shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of compensation on any such materials used by the Organizer.
