Huawei have officially launched their Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus smartphones with a bang featuring more colours, an enhanced Leica front camera, Leica dual-Camera 2.0 featuring the 12MP RGB + 20MP monochrome sensor from the Mate 9 but with better SUMMILUX-H Leica lenses that offer a larger F/1.8 aperture for faster focusing in low-light conditions and more. Malaysia release dates are expected within a month with prices starting from 649 euros (~RM3043).
Great design with spectacular Pantone colours and finish
True to previous teaser videos, the P10 and P10 Plus are now available in striking Pantone colours (done in collaboration with the Pantone Institute) such as dazzling blue and Pantone Greenery to go with Ceramic White and Dazzling Gold in a Hyper Diamond-cut finish for a glowing effect.

The Prestige Gold, Graphite Black, Rose Gold and Mystic Silver are still just as striking with a sandblast finish. Both are now even thinner at 6.98mm with the cameras flush to the surface but the rear fingerprint sensor has been moved to the front beneath the glass complete with the intuitive long press, double tap and swipe Smart Touch gestures shortcuts for the navigation bar. A nanocoating ensures that both phones are relatively splash proof.

Camera features for the P10 have got an upgrade with Leica 2.0 while the P10 Plus has Leica 2.0 Pro but both have a Leica front camera that features 3D facial detection for intelligent selfie taking. Hybrid Zoom is here from the Mate 9 while new features include studio-like portrait enhancements and dynamic illumination, allowing for more intelligent lighting when taking shots. And for the professionals, there are controls for everything from ISO to shutter speed, even RAW file output!

Upgraded tech-specs in nearly every way
Powered by Kirin 960 processors, the P10 offers a 5.1-inch FHD display while the P10 Plus goes for a 5.5-inch 2K display. The P10 comes wiht 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage while the P10 Plus goes a step higher with 4GB RAM / 64GB storage and 6GB RAM / 128GB storage options. Both support up to 256GB microSD. Thanks to the Kirin 960 processor, both feature ultra memory and Huawei's Machine Learning algorithm so that they stay fast even after 18 months but the P10 Plus adds on a bit more with 4.5G LTE Cat 12 connectivity. While there were no specific Malaysia release dates and pricing details, our guys at MWC confirmed that the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus should be coming to Malaysia in a month or so. Prices should follow as below:
