Could Apple launch the iPhone 12 Pro variants first this month?

Over the past few weeks, rumours have it that Apple could release four iPhone 12 models instead of two. Moreover, they could also separate two events and the new iPhones might be revealed in October.

These rumours have been quite consistent so far, but now there are new sources that are claiming that two 6.1-inch iPhone 12 models (one vanilla, one pro) could be released first. After that, the following launch could reveal the 5.4 and 6.7-inch models as the final one and these claims are based on the shipments schedule. Despite that, Bloomberg is now saying that Apple could reveal the more affordable 5.4 and 6.1-inch iPhone models first, then the 6.1 and 6.7-inch as the last.

On top of that, there are other leaks by Jon Prosser that the iPhone 12 series is appearing on 12 October 2020 and the pro variants could be available in November 2020. He also tweeted that Apple could announce their official event date quite soon (today, in fact) which the new iPad and Apple Watch 6 series could make an appearance first. Regardless, we have yet to see anything from Apple so it's best to take a pinch of salt.

Apple would traditionally unveil their latest products in the month of September but due to the current pandemic, it has forced the company to change up a little bit. We think the company would announce the official date soon enough so until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
