Recently, images of the vivo S5 and vivo V17 has recently been posted on gizmochina.com which showcases what seems to be the final design of both smartphones. Surprisingly, both smartphones come with a diamond-shaped camera module in the rear which houses the 48MP camera and more.
Starting off with the vivo V17, the image shows that the device comes with a hole punch notch which houses the front-facing selfie camera at the top right of the display. Not only that, it seems that it comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor due to the fact that there is no sign of a physical fingerprint sensor found on the device.
Tech spec-wise, there is no information in regards to the chipset the vivo V17 comes equipped with. However, gizmochina.com has mentioned that it is expected to come with 8GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 48MP main camera as well as a 4500mAh internal battery.
The vivo S5, on the other hand, seems to have the same design as the vivo V17 mentioned above. The only difference is the placement of the camera sensors, which is housed in the diamond-shaped camera module. Also, rumours have mentioned that it comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 chipset, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB internal storage and a 4010mAh internal battery.
As for the camera, TENAA stated that the S5 comes with a 48MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP rear camera sensors while the front has a 32MP front-facing selfie camera. With all that said, do take every bit of information with a grain of salt as vivo did not provide any official statement on both the smartphones mentioned.
