With the recent pre-order of the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, Huawei Malaysia has announced that the flagship has already sold out on its online shop, Lazada as well as 3ex online website. We don't know how many units did they sell, though, but the popular demand is there and customers who couldn't get it can still wait for the official launch day on 27 October 2018.
That being said, the official launch day will be held in a number of locations - Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Queensbay Mall Penang, and Aeon Mall Dato’ Onn Johor Bahru. Customers will be able to purchase the device on the spot during the roadshow and bring home some freebies, such as the DJI Tello for the first number of customers (depending on location, see picture below). In addition, customers who purchase the MateBook X Pro and MateBook D will receive a complimentary Huawei ANC Wired Earphone as well.
Selling for RM2799 and RM3599 respectively, the Mate 20 is available in black and blue, whereas the Mate 20 Pro comes in black, twilight and a new emerald green. The new Mate 20 series feature one of the first 7nm Kirin 980 chipset + dual Neural Processing Unit (NPU), along with a triple camera setup with Leica ultra wide angle lens, AI-enhanced filmmaking features. up to 40W SuperCharge technology and more.
