Previously, we reported that HUAWEI is set to unveil its latest foldable smartphone, the HUAWEI Pocket S in China tomorrow (2 November 2022), though nothing much is known about the device yet. Well, we may not have to wait long to get a glimpse of the upcoming foldable’s design though as it has been leaked through a promo poster of a retail store in China.
Shared by a tipster on Weibo, the poster shows the Pocket S beside another HUAWEI foldable, the Mate Xs 2. However, the Pocket S, as the name would suggest, is a foldable smartphone in the clamshell style of the P50 Pocket rather than the bigger Mate Xs 2.
In fact, the Pocket S looks almost identical to the P50 Pocket, with similar features such as having two rings on the outside of the clamshell. Just like the P50 Pocket, one ring houses the camera setup while the other is a circular screen to access a selfie viewfinder as well as functional widgets.
The poster also shows some of the colour variants of the upcoming device, particularly the more pastel colour variants. If the teaser video released by HUAWEI previously is of any indication, the Pocket S will have quite extensive colour options and not just the 3 colours shown in this poster.
Well, we just have to wait a few hours to know for sure about the colour options as well as the specs of the Pocket S. Can’t wait!
