According to a report by metro.co.uk, doctors had to extract a Nokia 3310 phone from an individual’s stomach after he managed to swallow the whole phone. Thankfully, no incision was made as the phone was removed using an endoscope, which meant that there were no complications after the procedure.
Also, it’s a good thing that the phone was not damaged during extraction, as the corrosive chemicals in the battery could have caused significant damage to the individual’s stomach. While ingesting foreign objects isn’t uncommon, swallowing a whole phone is definitely not something you would see every day because of the size.
