Previously we reported on the early benchmarks done using the Snapdragon 600-powered Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV or I9505 which were done using Geekbench 2. Now, benchmarks using the Exynos-powered Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV or I9500 have come up and blown practically every other device out of the water. The benchmark tests were done using AnTuTu and Quadrant. Check them out below:
AnTuTu (Higher is better)
Galaxy S4 i9500 Beats S4 i9505
Obviously, the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV I9500 does even better than the supposedly more powerful Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV I9505, proof that the 8-core Exynos 5 processor isn't just about energy saving as so many industry watchers have guessed. In the test, it was reported that the 8-core Exynos 5 processor was read as running at 1.8GHz, slightly higher than the previously reported 1.6GHz, perhaps due to slightly better optimization. Check out the comparison of Galaxy S4 i9500 & i9505.
