FCC listing gives us a look at upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 2

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Buds 2 is expected to be launched in July 2021 and it's about to enter mass production soon. Before it goes live, the FCC listing has leaked some information regarding the earbuds and a few live images revealing the design.

According to the certification, the Galaxy Buds 2 that bears the model number SM-R177 will have Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) connectivity. Meanwhile, its rounded square-shaped charging case with model number EP-QR177 will support 2.5W (5V/500mA) charging speed, with the earbuds charge at 0.6W (5V/120mA) speed.

For the design, it looks like Samsung will be adopting the one from the original Galaxy Buds. Giving the live images a closer look, you can see an inward-facing microphone, an outward-facing microphone, metal connectors for charging, and a wear detection sensor on the upcoming Galaxy earbuds. Other than black, the Galaxy Buds 2 is also expected to come with other colour options including white, purple, and green.
