At the end of March, hints of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 in the Galaxy Wearable app. It was clear that Samsung has already begun to work on it, but no one knew when it would be out. Now, sources suggest that the new model could launch soon.

According to Roland Quandt, Samsung is starting to ramp up production for parts of the Galaxy Buds 2 (model name SM-R177). This suggests that it's entering mass production so that it could be on schedule to launch sometime in July 2021. Samsung also adjusted the prices for its older TWS models like the Galaxy Buds Live, which is usually what the company does when a new model is on the way.

There haven't been any details of the new Galaxy Buds 2 so far. However, a sketch of the charging case was leaked recently. Its design is closer to the one for the case of the Galaxy Buds+, rather than the more recent Galaxy Buds Live (check our review here). Besides that, it's rumoured that the Galaxy Buds 2 will be available in black, white, purple, and green colours.

Since it's a Samsung device, we can expect the usual leak sources to reveal more details in the coming weeks. Having said that, what kind of improvements are you hoping to see from the new model? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates on this.
