A few weeks ago, it was revealed that Facebook was working on dark mode for Android and iOS. That's not too surprising, considering that we got dark mode for the desktop version in early May, so the mobile version was just a matter of time. Now, sources are claiming that Facebook has already begun testing dark mode for mobile.

According to Engadget (via SocialMediaToday), Facebook has started to test the new dark mode feature on mobile. However, only a small percentage of users are allowed to test it, which means these are testers with access to the beta version of the Facebook app. This could mean that there are bugs with dark mode on mobile, so Facebook is holding back on testing with a larger group of users.

Other apps under Facebook like Instagram and WhatsApp have already gotten dark mode on mobile, so it's only a matter of time before the Facebook mobile app gets it.
