Finally! Instagram will reportedly release an iPad app later this year

Meta is reportedly working on a tablet version of the Instagram app for the Apple iPad, which is touted for release later this year. For context, the Instagram app on the iPad is nothing more than the iOS version of the app that doesn’t take advantage of the tablet’s larger screen.

According to MacRumors, a couple of reports have confirmed this matter. These include The Information’s Kaya Yurieff and Kalley Huang, as well as Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman on his popular Power On newsletter. The latter said that Meta employees are “actively testing” the Instagram app for the iPad.

Recently, Meta finally released the WhatsApp app on the iPad, and it looks like Instagram will follow suit. For the latest developments on this and more trending tech news, do stay tuned to TechNave.
