As mentioned before in our previous news, the duo is said to feature a 5.7-inch HD and 5.99-inch FHD+ display respectively. So because of that, the fingerprint scanner has been relocated to the back and the body is full metal. Xiaomi is certainly going aggressive with the budget-friendly target audience, as the Redmi 5 will come in three different variants based on memory capacity from 2GB + 16GB until 4GB + 64GB, while the Redmi 5 Plus will only have two variants which are 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB.
