As one of the companies listed during Qualcomm's latest Tech Summit, most expect Motorola's next flagship device to feature the Snapdragon 888 device. But sources are suggesting that this may not be the case. Besides that, a render of the device's front was also found recently.

Codenamed as 'Nio', this device allegedly appeared in Motorola's announcement about a possible Motorola G series device that will feature a Snapdragon 800 series chipset. As you can see from the image, it has the same punch-hole dual front camera setup that the Motorola G Plus has. What's interesting is that according to Voice.com, this phone will be using a Snapdragon 865 chipset instead of the new Snapdragon 888 chipset.

Aside from the chipset, this phone is expected to have 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 5000mAh battery. It's going to run on Android 11 and will support DisplayPort Alternate Mode, which will allow it to have a desktop mode similar to Samsung DeX. In the video Motorola played at the recent Qualcomm Tech Summit, you can see reference to Google Stadia, media watcher, and desktop mode.

More brands should support desktop modes like this, so that part is the most exciting for us. Having said that, would a desktop mode make a brand more appealing to you? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news.
