It was only last week when we wrote some early look at Android 12. Although still in the early stage, reputable sources have found information about new features that may make it to the final version. According to XDA-Developers, Android 12 could add in a Gaming Mode, Smarter Autorotation and Bright Colour adjustment.

Since mobile gaming is popular in the Asian region (like Malaysia), we are going to start talking about Gaming Mode first. A new "GamerManager service" can be found within Android 12 and this is different from GameManagerClient. Described as a “service to manage game-related features", it's theorized to be a feature that turns on gaming mode that includes the normal Do Not Disturb mode and others. XDA also found that Google is integrated a new Bluetooth API which allows the device to detect your Bluetooth accessory (like a controller or wireless earpiece) battery level.

Next, Google seems to be doing something for the auto-rotation on your phone. Most people would turn off the auto-rotation because it's annoying for the screen to readjust the interface, but at the same time - they have to turn it back on or use third-party apps for that when looking at a photo or video at full screen. To solve this problem, Google is planning to use software AI to detect your head's position via the front camera to auto-rotate.

Last but not least, the Bright Colour adjustment is as straightforward as it is. Initially, it was going to be called "Reduce Brightness" but Google is planning to bring it to another level which can help visually impaired phone users. It's still in the development stage and may make its way to be a default setting in Android 12.

So far Android 12 sounds pretty good if compared to the current Android 11. What do you think of these features? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
