It was just yesterday when we saw some AMD news. The company suggested that prices for its new Radeon RX 6800 series GPUs would normalise in 4 to 8 weeks. But maybe Gigabyte will be bringing them in soon, as the company has announced that it's bringing in Radeon RX 6800 GPUs to Malaysia.
Gigabyte Malaysia is bringing in a total of five different models. Specifically, we'll be getting the Aorus Radeon RX 6800 XT Master Type C, Aorus Radeon RX 6800 XT Master, Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming OC, Aorus Radeon RX 6800 Master, and Radeon RX 6800 Gaming OC. These cards will share a lot of features and are all designed for gamers and PC enthusiasts.
Speaking of common features, the Aorus Master GPUs have Max-Covered cooling system, which consists of three blade-stack fans that fully cover the large heatsink. Additionally, there's an LCD monitor that can be used to show the temperature or a GIF, as well as the RGB Fusion 2.0 software that you can use control the RGB lighting for the GPU. In terms of hardware, the Aorus Master GPUs have aerospace-grade PCB coating, Dual BIOS quiet operation mode, and Gigabyte Ultra Durable certified components.
Next, there's the Gaming OC series of GPUs, which uses Gigabyte's Windforce 3X cooling system instead. Similar to Max-Covered cooling, Windforce 3X comes with three blade fans with the middle fan fans spinning in reverse for more optimised airflow. Other than that, most of its other features and components are similar to the Aorus Master series.
Gigabyte didn't confirm when stocks for the GPUs, but we do know prices for the two Gaming OC series GPUs. The Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming OC and Radeon RX 6800 Gaming OC are priced at RM3899 and RM3399 respectively.
