Global tournament ROG Masters 2017 announced with $500,000 prize pool

After the recent announcement of the new ROG Zephyrus gaming laptop in Taipei, Taiwan. ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has just made another announcement that they will be hosting the ROG Masters 2017 which will feature over 20 top professional gaming teams globally.

With the prize pool of $500,000, the two games that are chosen for the tournament are DotA 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). The open qualifiers will take place first in EMEA, Americas, APAC and China, and each of the winners out of these open qualifiers will then compete with invited professional teams from each of the four regions, battling it out for a spot in the Grand Finals in November 2017, which is yet to be announced.
