In November 2021, OPPO launched its Reno7 series in China. It consisted of two models - the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro - with flat edges that look more elegant than its predecessors. However, sources claim that we might not be getting that design.
Earlier today, the tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore leaked press renders and tech specs for what he claimed to be the global/India version of the OPPO Reno7. As you can see, the sides of this device are rounded. Instead of the OPPO Reno7, the design is identical to the Chinese version of the Reno7 SE.

This phone is entirely different phone from its Reno7 & Reno7 SE Chinese variant.

However, it's not the same device since the tech specs are a bit different. While the global OPPO Reno7 has the same Dimensity 900 chipset as the OPPO Reno7 SE, the camera specs remain unchanged. Specifically, it will retain a 64MP+8MP+2MP rear triple-camera, a 32MP front camera, and 65W fast charging. You can consider this a rebrand of the OPPO Reno7 SE for the global market with improved specs.
Mind you, the source's could be referring to the global OPPO Reno7 SE (the post is a bit confusing). In that case, it would be a better deal than the version released in China. Either way, take this particular claim with a grain of salt. Having said that, do you prefer flat edges or rounded ones?
