Google will be hosting a product launch next week on 30 September 2020 and besides the new Chromecast, some new Pixel smartphones will also be revealed. But details of the products have been popping up ahead of the launch. One of the latest is on the Pixel 4a 5G, a mid-range model for the latest Pixel 4 series.
According to WinFuture, the tech specs for the Google Pixel 4a 5G is out and seems to be only a slight downgrade from the Pixel 5. It's confirmed to have a Snapdragon 765 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 3885mAh battery. In terms of display, the Pixel 4a 5G will have a 6.2-inch OLED display (60Hz) with a resolution of 2340x1080.

The Pixel 4a 5G is also expected to have a dual-camera setup at the back, which is one more camera compared to the Pixel 4a. Specifically, it'll be the same 12MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, as well as an extra 16MP ultra-wide camera. As for the front, the same 8MP camera will remain.
From the looks of it, the Pixel 4a 5G can probably be considered a cheaper Pixel 5. But we'll have to wait and see if the Pixel 5 has features that make it more appealing.
