Yesterday, we mentioned that the Google Play Pass has arrived in Malaysia, but not everyone can access it. Today, Google has rolled out this feature to everyone. That said, here’s a recap and how you can sign up for it.

In case you didn’t know, the play pass works like the Apple Arcade. Through this pass, you can access hundreds of games with no ads and no in-app payment after the subscription. On top of that, you can share this play pass with up to 5 family members.

Remember, the monthly pass will cost you RM10.99. The yearly subscription will cost you RM99.00. That’s 25% cheaper than Apple Arcade. But it does not end there, the first month is free of charge so you can tinker around during this period. If this pass is not to your liking, you can cancel its subscription anytime.

To purchase this pass, you can tap the Google Play Store app on your phone, then tap your profile picture in the upper right corner. You will see a “Play Pass” label between the Library and Settings. Tap this label, and the subscription is charged to your saved payment method in the Google Play Store.
