Following a series of leaks and rumours, Google announced during Google I/O 2022 back in May that it is indeed working on the Pixel Watch and touted it for release after September 2022. Now, we’ve got a date for the launch (7 October 2022 in Malaysia) and Google is further teasing us with the wearable with a new official video showcasing its design in full.

Posted on the official Made by Google YouTube channel, the 51-second video shows the Pixel Watch from every angle, highlighting its circular aesthetics and a series of minimalist watch faces. The teaser video also showed that the circular display wraps all the way around to the back of the wearable, where you can spot a Gorilla Glass branding.

Hence, it’s safe to say that the protection glass for the Pixel Watch is made by Corning, though it is unclear which iteration of Gorilla Glass the wearable will be utilising. Furthermore, a closer inspection of the video showed that there’s a singular button and a crown on its right side.

Besides the one discernable from the video, no official specs of the smartwatch have been revealed by Google just yet. Well, we just have to wait until this 7 October to find out.
