In line with the Pakej Rangsangan Ekonomi Prihatin Rakyat that was announced earlier today by our Prime Minister Muhyiddin today, Grab Malaysia have released an official response and decided to give us a better picture of the allowance allocation. Called as the Partner Protection Fund and Partner Relief Fund, here's a brief summary.

As mentioned from the live telecast today, the RM500 will be allocated to each e-hailing driver during the extended Movement Control Order. But in addition to that, under the Partner Protection Fund, this plan provides financial assistance up to RM1000 per driver or delivery partner who self-quarantine or are seeking medical treatment for COVID-19. On the other hand, the Partner Relief Fund is for the drivers and delivery partners to save up to 50% vouchers from GrabFood, GrabMart and GrabPay on their daily household expenses.
