HONOR 50 Malaysia release: SD 778G, 66W fast charge, and 108MP camera, starts at RM1,699

After being absent in the Malaysian smartphone market for a while, HONOR is finally having a comeback with the HONOR 50. Although the device already launched in China back in June, it's still exciting to find out that it can finally be bought in the local market, not to mention it comes with Google Mobile Services this time. 

To recap, the HONOR 50 uses a 6.57-inch display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, besides getting powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, the device also packs a 4,300mAh battery and supports a 66W fast charge.

Coming to the camera setup, the HONOR 50 brings a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Furthermore, there is also a 32MP sensor in the punch-hole cutout placed on the top middle of the screen for selfies and video calls. 

The HONOR 50 will be available in HONOR Code, Frost Crystal, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black. It's priced at RM1,699 for the 6/128GB variant and RM1,999 for the 8/256GB variant in Malaysia.
