In case you missed it, HONOR is set to unveil its latest mid-range offering, the HONOR 90 series for the global market this 6 July. However, we don’t have to wait long to know about one of its variants, the HONOR 90 Lite because a webpage for the device is already up on HONOR's official France website.

From the looks of things, the 90 Lite is a rebranded China-only X50i for the global market with slight changes. Under the hood, the 90 Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 mobile processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

In terms of display, it’s a 6.7-inch 90Hz LTPS LCD screen with a resolution of FHD+ and a 19:9:9 aspect ratio. There’s a punch hole cutout in the top centre of the panel which houses a 16MP selfie camera.

Meanwhile, at the rear, the device has a 108MP main + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro triple-camera setup. Its battery is a bit smaller than most mid-rangers though with only a 4500mAh cell that supports 22.5W fast charging via the USB-C port.

Other notable specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Android 13 OS via MagicOS 7.1 and colour options of Midnight Black, Titanium Silver and Cyan Lake.

The 90 Lite’s availability and price are yet to be revealed as of the time of writing, though we do expect it to launch in Malaysia after its global release this 6 July. Hence, make sure to stay tuned to TechNave for the latest development on this and for more trending tech news.
