According to the latest Weibo post from the official HONOR account, the foldable smartphone will be called 'HONOR Magic V'.
Besides that, the teaser poster that came with the post also reveals that the device will go with a left-right folding mechanism. Previous rumours also suggested that the internal foldable main display measures 8-inch while the external secondary screen is 6.5-inch. It would also pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip.
It's exciting to see more Chinese smartphone manufacturers are slowly stepping into the foldable device segment. Recently, OPPO had also announced its first foldable device, Find N, after a long wait. Let's see how their offerings will compete with the current top foldable smartphone maker Samsung!
